Welcome to Our School
Hello!
Welcome to Everbrook Academy in Savage, MN where we are more than just a daycare. Our STEAM curriculum brings the world into every classroom. Here, your child will discover integrated, hands-on learning experiences in Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Math.
We offer Infant, Toddler, Preschool, Pre-K and Junior Kindergarten. Every teacher in every classroom uses the same set of developmental milestones to observe and assess each child’s learning and growth. Through our unique cycle of intentional planning, teachers use these assessments in addition to the children’s interests to customize weekly lesson plans. This way, learning goals are personalized for every child!
We also broaden each family's experience through monthly family events. Examples are Trunk or Treat, Polar Express Night, Valentine's Day, and Tea with Me. In addition, we offer elective programs to introduce children to a variety of experiences (Soccer Shots, yoga, etc.) beyond the daily classroom curriculum.
In The Brook, our all-ages community activity room, you’ll find an interactive virtual playground, books, cozy reading nooks, and STEAM zones for coding, and more. Step outside and discover some outdoor fun with our playground and age-appropriate play structures. STEAM-inspired play systems and components help children to develop their skills and abilities while having fun.

Cheryl Baumer, Principal
Education: Bachelor of Science in Education
Certifications: Kindergarten Endorsement
Mrs. Cheryl attended Normandale Community College and St. Cloud State University. She has 22 years of experience in a variety of early childhood roles. She has worked for Learning Care Group for over six years. Cheryl grew up in Prior Lake and what she loved most about school as a child was the community atmosphere. "Tell me and I'll forget, Teach me and I'll remember. Involve me and I'll learn."

Andrea Schutz, Assistant Director
Education: Associates in Social Work & Education , Bachelor's in General Studies
Mrs. Andrea attended Iona College, The College of Saint Rose, and the University of North Georgia. She has been in the early childhood field for more than 15 years, with experience in Toddlers, Preschool and Junior Kindergarten. She has tenure with Learning Care Group of over 10 years. Her favorite part of teaching is seeing the excitement in each student as they learn and master life skills. Mrs. Andrea grew up in upstate New York and has lived in Georgia before settling in Minnesota.

Miss Zoey attended Normandale Community College, graduating with her General Associate's degree. As a child, Ms. Zoey always dreamed of being a teacher. She enjoyed helping her classmates and babysitting her cousins. She started at Everbrook shortly after their opening as an assistant teacher in Preschool, then has since transitioned as an Administrative Assistant.
