Derek Weinmann: 2021 Bright Star Award Winner

Congratulations to Derek Weinmann from Everbrook Academy in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA – winner of the company’s Bright Star Award. Derek is being honored for his outstanding leadership and his creative solutions. 

The award recognizes Derek’s exceptional work as School Education Manager in providing guidance for the school staff, overseeing the implementation of the curriculum, assessments, and DOLs, conducting training sessions and coaching team members. Derek has been invaluable in leading the school’s parent communication and conducting virtual tours with prospective families. He’s also playing a pivotal role in managing the Virtual Pre-K program for the Southern California Region.

Throughout the pandemic, Derek has prioritized the well-being of his team, boosting morale by showing appreciation with notes, treats, and classroom support, as well as initiating “Wellness Wednesdays.” He has also kept families connected and engaged with Zoom readings, dance parties and craft activities.
