Welcome to Our School

Our Charlotte, North Carolina, daycare and preschool, Everbrook Academy of Harrisburg, is here for your family, close to Atrium Health Harrisburg Emergency Department and Harris Teeter. Our team's credentials include Early Childhood Administration credentials and CPR and First Aid certifications. They have also finished sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) and playground safety training. Our families come from Harrisburg. Little ones begin in Infants, Toddlers, and Twos, then move on to Early Preschool, Preschool, Pre-K, and Junior Kindergarten, plus Before and After School Care; our school serves ages 6 weeks to 12 years. Little ones feel secure and curious with Learn from the Start®, and Learn as We Grow® for Toddlers through Pre-K helps children collaborate and solve problems, like toddlers exploring patterns through songs and books.

With SproutAbout®, real-time photos, video, and care updates reach you, and livestreaming video lets you watch the classroom. We celebrate big milestones and small victories alike with every family. Healthy choices at every meal and snack, plus lots of encouragement, help children grow bold about food. Safety is built into how we care for children, supported by standards that are thorough. Principal

I am a Concord, NC native with 30 years of experience in early childhood education. Since age 16, I have been passionate about advocating for children and helping them build a strong foundation for future success. I believe trust is at the heart of learning, and building meaningful relationships with children is key to their growth and development. I am also a proud mom of an adult son who serves as a firefighter.

4 weeks – 1 year 1:4 Staff-to-Child Ratio

Safety and comfort come first in our Infants Program, where Primary Caregivers offer your little one personalized attention. Learn from the Start™, our exclusive milestone-based curriculum, guides every experience, from sensory play to early language and motor skill building. The classroom is designed with everything teachers need at their fingertips, so they can stay by your baby’s side. Sensory pools and mats, activity gyms, and other age-appropriate toys and materials engage all five senses, inspiring curiosity and exploration in a safe space. With a maximum teacher-child ratio of 1:4, your baby always feels the love and attention they need. Diapers and wipes are also included, giving families one less thing to worry about each day.
