Welcome to Everbrook Academy, a 21st century preschool and learning center in West Bloomfield, MI! My name is Kimberly Black and I am the school principal. I have been in early childhood education for seven years and in the principal role for a year and a half. I have a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and a passion for working with children and their families.
Our school provides learning opportunities through a unique STEAM-based curriculum. We offer programs for children from six weeks to 12 years old in our Infant, Toddler, Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten and School-Age classrooms.
All of our teachers have degrees in early childhood education or a child-related field and together, we have over 160 years of experience. We provide a warm and welcoming environment for children and families and we encourage parents to stop by any time.
We also have a school education manager, Mallory Przygocki, who will ensure that learning and growth for each child is supported, monitored and reviewed. She provides support to our teachers by personalizing lesson plans and assessing children.
Schedule a tour today and come visit our NECPA-accredited Everbrook Academy. We can't wait to meet you and your family and show you everything our school has to offer!
In this classroom, your child will make discoveries and think independently, as we prepare them for the future. The authentic Montessori curriculum enables children to learn in their own way, at their own pace, through the practical application of sensory-based and self-directed activities. Our certified Montessori teacher spends significant time with each child, helping them discover unique talents and interests. Plus, a full complement of Montessori equipment offers tangible, hands-on learning opportunities to develop children’s skills and senses.
This mixed-aged classroom (for 3- to 6-year-olds) also helps children to develop social skills and challenges them to learn to work together—while being mindful of the best interests of others.

I feel honored to work with the amazing staff and the wonderful children and families at our school. The connections that I am able to make in my role as Principal are very rewarding. My favorite part about the STEAM learning approach is that we are preparing kiddos for the 21st century!
